Post static ip address? Reply with quote
Ok im trying to port forward right now and i cant because it keeps on telling me that I need a static ip address. But the thing is when I go to command prompt it only gives me DNS server. How the hell do I get the other one if it doesnt come out in the command prompt?

I dont know if this is useful or not but this is what im talking about

If you can't get an IP address from doing "ipconfig /all" then you could go into your router and look at your clients table and see what IP address it thinks it's giving you. You can also just make your router give you a certain IP based on your MAC address, but that all depends on your router.

Try going through the steps and just give yourself an IP, should be something like 192.168.x.1xx

last two parts of the IP depend on what router you have
